The Market is Friend of the Environment

From waste separation to clean energy, through eco-friendly materials and shared mobility, the Christmas Market in Trento renews its commitment to the environment.

Some examples? The electricity used during the market is entirely produced by Dolomiti Energia, utilizing 100% renewable sources. The exhibitors are part of a short supply chain that offers the best of local production and use compostable tableware made from FSC-certified eco-paper with a low environmental impact.

Thanks to the public transport services provided by Trentino Trasporti, reaching the Christmas market is super easy! During the weekends of the event, the ecological islands in Piazza Fiera and Piazza Mostra are staffed to help visitors properly sort their waste and do a little good for our planet.

This year, you can also toast to Christmas with the official ceramic mug of the Christmas Market, available at the info points, which helps reduce environmental impact… Have we convinced you?
