The Philharmonic Society of Trento, proposes “Carola and the Christmas festivities – Discovering Christmas traditions”
Carola, a girl who lives and is very curious, decides to know the hidden meaning of her name… Thus begins, together with the public, her investigation that becomes, step by step, a real and unexpected journey to discover Christmas and the many traditions that this party, since the dawn of time, brings with it. A path that will lead children into the arcane atmospheres of the English mists, between the Scottish moors and the green Irish meadows covered with frost, thanks to the melodies that accompany the Anglo-Saxon winter through the centuries and beyond. A magical but also fun journey together, during which our Carola will find the poetry of the songs proposed by the mysterious Rachel, Irish mezzo-soprano, but also the joy of the melodies that have always accompanied the days of Christmas, thanks to the fairytale sounds of harp, flute and strings and the irrepressible rhythm of percussion.
